Bigger Bass Bonanza Theme and Design
The natural instinct for developers when creating a fishing-themed title is to place the reels under the sea with loads of fish swimming past. Bigger Bass Bonanza goes against this trend a little, with the slot being set just off the coastline of a brightly-lit and lively city. The city sits above the reels like some sort of banner, while the background for the game features some palm trees submerged under water. Symbol wise, many make reappearances from the first game, with fish, bait, fishing boats, and, of course, a fisherman, all occupying the reels. This is all punctuated by a funky, almost disco-like soundtrack.
How to Play Bigger Bass Bonanza
Pragmatic Play didn’t reinvent the reel with the Bigger Bass Bonanza slot, they simply took everything that people liked about Big Bass Bonanza and made it bigger. The most noticeable difference is the increase in the number of rows on the grid. There are still five reels, but there is now an additional fourth row. This increases the number of paylines from 10 to 12. Not a huge difference, but it does create a few more winning possibilities.
To get started, players can adjust the stake using the +/- buttons located on either side of the spin icon. The minimum bet is €0.12, while the maximum is set at €240. During the spins, if a money symbol lands at the same time as the fisherman symbol, he will cast out across the reels and secure the cash for the players. The fisherman symbol is also the game’s Wild, and it can appear on any reel during the round.
