Dragon Blox Gigablox review
Dragon Blox invites you on a quest to steal some gold from a sleeping dragon. The game was designed and developed by Peter & Sons and was released by Yggdrasil. The title is another in the Gigablox series that was developed by Yggdrasil. Is this a quest worth accepting? Let’s take it for a spin and find out in this Dragon Blox Gigablox slot review.
Dragon Blox Gigablox Theme and Design
Peter & Sons has a really fun approach to slot designs, which is displayed in Dragon Blox Gigablox. The slot’s grid sits in the heart of a dragon’s cave, with the titular creature wrapped around the reels. This creature is much more Shrek than Game of Thrones though, and it has a cartoon-like animated design. It springs to life at various points in the slot, with the graphics being nice and slick. The reels themselves are bordered with two stone columns, with wizards, knights and other medieval people making up the symbols.
How to Play Dragon Blox Gigablox
Dragon Blox Gigablox uses a 6x6 set-up with 50 active paylines on every spin. There is very little of note when it comes to the base gameplay, with all of the standard controls and functions being present and correct.
The maximum win in Dragon Blox Gigablox comes in at a solid 5,000x the player’s stake, with the game being considered highly volatile. The RTP sits at 95.9%, falling just shy of the average of 96%.
Dragon Blox Gigablox Bonus Features
The bonus features in Dragon Blox Gigablox consist of the titular feature, some free spins, and a re-spin-style round. The first feature you will see is the Gigablox mechanic. These are oversized symbols that can be between 2x2 or 6x6. These can land on any spin.
The re-spin-style bonus is called Monster Jackpot. This is launched when players land six or more Lock’n’blox symbols. The triggering symbols will stick to the reels and a re-spin bonus will start with three spins. All standard symbols are removed from the grid and either Lock’n’blox symbols or empty symbols will land. Any Lock’n’Blox symbols that land will also stick and will reset the spin count to three. Lock’n’blox symbols next to each other will merge to create bigger symbols.
The round ends when there are no more spins. All Lock’n’blox symbols are added up and paid out.
The other bonus is the Monster Free Spins round. This is launched when players land six or more of the Free Spins symbols. The number of rewarded spins corresponds with the number of triggering symbols. During the round, there is more chance of Gigablox symbols landing. An additional spin is added every time a Free Spins symbol lands.
You may be able to use the game’s Buy Bonus feature to enter the Monster Free Spins. However, this is not available in the UK and other selected markets.
Dragon Blox Gigablox Slot Verdict
Dragon Blox Gigablox is another fun slot game from Peter & Sons. The developer always manages to create quirky little slots with some nice winning potential. The bonus rounds all come together nicely and provide some solid slot entertainment. While it is not the most creative of titles from the developer, it is really nicely designed and it plays well.
