Big Bite Slot review

Few online slot developers are as good at making deep-sea-themed games as Push Gaming. The company has found great success with its Razor Shark and Razor Returns titles, and it is taking us back beneath the surface once again with the Big Bite online slot. Does this title manage to pack the bite it promises, though? Let’s find out in this Big Bite slot review.

Big Bite Theme and Design

Push Gaming has opted for a much colder setting than usual with the Big Bite slot. The reels are situated in what appears to be the polar ice-caps, with giant icebergs and blocks floating off into the background. The reels are populated with fish symbols and a fisherman’s equipment.

It is exactly the kind of playful design you would expect from Push Gaming, with the slot looking great on mobile and desktop devices.

How to Play Big Bite

Big Bite keeps things conventional with its base game. The slot has five reels, three rows, and ten active paylines on each spin. Wins are formed by landing three or more matching symbols across a payline.

The slot boasts a strong math model with an RTP of 96.38%, which is above the standard 96%. The betting ranges from $0.05 up to $100, though this may vary with casinos. The game is rated as medium volatility. It serves up a solid maximum win of 10,000x your stake.

Big Bite Bonus Features

The bonus features are where Big Bite’s biggest action occurs. The game shares similar DNA to other popular fishing titles, such as Big Bass Bonanza and Fishin Frenzy.

Fish symbols can land on reels 2-4 and can display prizes between x1 and x1,000 your stake. If an Orca symbol lands at the same time, it will instantly collect and pay out the prize. Orca symbols can also have multipliers attached. These can be 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, or 10x. This is applied to the collected value.

There are also five jackpots available in the game. The Mini, Minor, Major, Mega, and Grand are worth 15x, 75x, 350x, 1,500x, and 10,000x your stake, respectively. If these land with an Orca symbol, they are paid out.

The Big Bite Free Spins bonus is rewarded when players land three or more Scatters. Three, four, or five Scatters will trigger the round with a starting Orca Multiplier of 1x, 3x, or 10x.

The bonus takes place on an enlarged 5x5 grid with 20 paylines. During the round, Orcas are collected in a meter, and every time you reach a new level, additional spins are rewarded and the Orca Multiplier increases.

There are four levels, each rewarding five spins. The Multiplier values increase 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x in levels one through four, respectively.

You can also buy your way into the Free Spins round for various prices, with the option to have an increased Orca Multiplier for a higher buy-in.

Big Bite Slot Verdict

Big Bite may not be quite as sharp as Razor Shark when it comes to gameplay, but it still serves up plenty of action. Push Gaming has taken the popular structure from games like Big Bass Bonanza and put their own spin on it. The high volatility, 96.38% RTP, and the 10,000x maximum wins are all big selling points. Overall, this is a slot well worth taking for a spin.
