Das xBoot is a lot that draws its inspiration from an unlikely source. Das Boot is a 1981 German movie about a submarine and its crew in the midst of World War 2. The events that unfold in the movie are, of course, tragic, and as such, Nolimit City has decided that it would make the perfect adaptation material for a slot. Das xBoot Bonus Features
Nolimit City has gone to town with the bonus features in this slot, so prepare for a wild ride. Firstly, there is the xNudge Wild symbol. This is a four-row high Wild that will always nudge to make itself fully visible on the reels. Every time it nudges, a multiplier attached increases by one. Due to its size, it can only land on reels 3 and 4.
Next up is the Nolimit City classic, the xWays symbol. This lands on reels 2 and 5. It will reveal a random symbol and will be worth up to five of those symbols. If there are multiplier xWays, they will all be revealed to be the same symbol.
The xBomb Wild Multiplier does as its name suggests. It is a Wild that blows up and brings a multiplier with it. When it explodes, all non-winning symbols are taken out and new ones tumble onto the grid. The xBombs themselves remain on the reels and become Wilds. They fall to the bottom of the reels and increase the global multiplier before the new symbols fall in.
The Sonar symbol is the game’s Scatter and it can launch two different bonus rounds. Landing three or four will launch the Silent Hunter Spins and the Wolf Pack Spins respectively.
In the Silent Hunter Spins bonus, reel 3 expands up to eight positions in the style of a periscope. Whenever two matching symbols land on reels 1 and 2 alongside a Periscope Wild on reel 3, then an animation is launched. In this, a missile is fired at a boat. If it is successful, then a multiplier is added to the grid, and the third reel fills up with Wild symbols. For each nudge that is required to fill the reels, the multiplier for the reel increases by one.
Finally, there is the Wolf Pack Spins bonus, which is one of the most intricate bonuses Nolimit City has put together, and that’s really saying something. At the start of the round, a torpedo tube is revealed under reels 2-5. Torpedo Wilds are then added to the reels.
On reels 2-5, whenever a Torpedo Wild lands, it drops a +1 xWays onto the Torpedo. On the middle two reels, Torpedo Wilds add a +1 xWays Wild onto the Torpedo. When the Torpedo is all filled up, the launch sequence starts. All xWays symbols that were collected are revealed behind the Torpedo.
Every time the Torpedo launches, a sticky win multiplier is added to the reels and will increase by +1 for every spin left in the Wolf Pack Spins. xBomb Wild Bombs will also be sticky during the round and will increase the multiplier by +1.

Das xBoot is very much a Nolimit City slot game. It takes on a unique and rather heavy theme, mixes it with some highly volatile gameplay and then tops it off with a collection of insane bonus features.
