As we mentioned above, Gates of Olympus does manage to give Ancient Greece a bit of a stylish makeover. While it is not exactly reinventing the wheel, the game does have some sharp graphics, with Zeus floating next to the reels in his 3D glory, and a giant golden temple sitting behind the reels. The reels themselves are populated by pieces of jewellery including crowns, rings, and a stylish hourglass. The slot has quite an ominous soundtrack that gives the game a surprisingly menacing tone.
How to Play Gates of Olympus
Instead of traditional paylines, Gates of Olympus uses a pay anywhere mechanic. Whenever eight or more of a symbol land anywhere on the reels, the slot will pay out. It gives the game a different feeling from other slots in the genre and keeps the gameplay exciting.
