Jammin' Jars 2 Theme and Design
Fans of the original Jammin Jars can breathe a sigh of relief. Push Gaming hasn’t messed with the formula too much, with the slot sticking with the disco theme from the original. If anything, the slot just looks sharper than its predecessor, with the addition of a little DJ above the reels giving the game even more personality. Needless to say, the soundtrack for the slot is also pumping and really does a great job of establishing the mood.
How to Play Jammin' Jars 2
Getting the party started with Jammin Jars 2 is a fairly simple process. The slot takes place on an 8x8 grid and uses a cluster-pay mechanic. Winning clusters are formed of five or more symbols. Like a lot of cluster-pay slots, the game uses a cascading win mechanic. Whenever a winning cluster is formed, the symbols disappear and everything falls down the reels, with new symbols dropping from the top. This then continues to happen until there are no winning clusters formed.
The slot has a maximum win available of 50,000x the stake, and the RTP is 96.40%, though this can increase up to 96.60% with the Giga Jar feature. These are both impressive numbers that put this slot above average. Like its predecessor, the game is considered highly volatile.
Jammin' Jars 2 Bonus Features
If you played the original Jammin Jars, you will know that this party really heats up when the bonus features kick in. Firstly, you will notice instant prize symbols on the grid displayed as numbers. Whenever these land in a cluster of five or more, the total number of multipliers is evaluated and then paid out. These instant prizes can be worth up to 1,000x the player’s stake.
The most important symbol in the slot is arguably the Wild Jar symbol. Whenever this contributes to a winning cluster, the symbol will jump across the reel before the following cascade. As it moves, a multiplier is applied, starting at x1 and increasing with every time it moves across the grid. The Jars will disappear at the end of a cascade. The maximum multiplier the jars can get up to is x43.
At the end of a cascade, it is also possible for the Fruit Blast feature to launch. This will see an animated equalizer light up the reels, with one or more Giant Fruit symbols or Instant Win symbols being added to the grid. The Fruit symbol will change all of the positions it highlights to the same symbol, and the Instant Prize will change them to Instant Win symbols. The Instant Prize symbols will then spin through different multipliers until they land on one.
There is still so much more though. Three Scatters, which are also the Wilds, will trigger the Free Spins round. Players are given six free spins. During the round, any Wild Jars that land will perform as they do in the base game, jumping around the grid with an increasing multiplier, but they will stick on the reels for the duration, allowing players to build some pretty big wins.
One more thing to keep your eyes out for is the Golden Vinyl symbol. Whenever this lands on the grid, it will be added to the Giga Jar, which is a meter on the left-hand side of the reels. The RTP for the slot is 96.60%. When it has reached this level, if a Golden Vinyl lands, the Giga Jar feature might be triggered.
For this feature, all symbols disappear off the board. Several Wild Jars are added to the grid in random positions, and then the Giga Jar symbol will enter the mix. This is a 2x2, 3x3, or 4x4 Instant Prize symbol.
Players are then given eight spins. For the spins, the normal symbols are irrelevant. Instant Prize symbols that land on the reels will stick, and Wild Jars work in the same way as they do in the Free Spins round. Winning clusters can be formed of five or more Instant Prize symbols. Additional spins can also be added at random when Instant Prize symbols land. When the feature ends, the Giga Jar meter is reset back, but it starts at level 2.

Delivering a sequel to such a hugely successful slot is tough, but delivering one that is even better than its predecessor is often impossible. Try telling that to Push Gaming though, because they’ve made it look easy here. Jammin Jars 2 is an absolute blast and is one of the company’s strongest outings. The bonuses are ridiculously good, and the base game is a whole lot of fun as well. The graphics are sharper, the winning potential is great, and even the soundtrack is infectious. This is about as good as cluster-pay slots get.
