If there are two things Pragmatic Play does well – it’s cluster pay slots and anime themes. The two have been brought together once again for the Mochimon online slot game. Fans of Pragmatic Play’s work will quickly recognise the game as a reskin of the popular Sugar Rush slot from the developer. Mochimon Theme and Design
As we mentioned in the intro, Mochimon features an anime woman standing on the side of the screen. Pragmatic Play like using anime women in their slots, and they have produced mixed results. Titles like Starlight Princess do a great job paying homage to popular anime series, while other games like Wild Beach Party feel a little inappropriate. Mochimon falls somewhere in the middle. The decision to put the character in a maid-style outfit feels a little risque, but the character design is cool and feels like it could have been from an anime series.
The rest of the game opts for a more random theme, with little blobs and creatures appearing on the reels as symbols. They add some colour and personality though, even if they are at odds with the woman standing to their right.
How to Play Mochimon
The Mochimon slot is a cluster-pay slot game that features a 7x7 grid. Winning clusters in the game are formed when players land five or more matching symbols around one another. Before each spin, players will want to select their stake using the +/- buttons on either side of the spin button.
The Mochimon slot has an RTP of 96.50%, putting it above the industry average. The maximum win in the slot is 5,000x the player’s stake. The volatility for the slot is 5/5, according to Pragmatic Play. Mochimon Bonus Features
Like a lot of cluster-pay slots, much of the action in Mochimon is built around the Tumble mechanic. Whenever players land a winning cluster, symbols are removed and new ones fall onto the grid.
When this happens, a mark is left behind, and if another cluster wins during the same tumble, then a multiplier is added to that spot. This then doubles all the way up to a maximum of x128 until the Tumble ends. This then reverts to normal when the sequence is finished.
This isn’t the case in the Free Spins bonus, where the multipliers and spots are persistent. The Free Spins are triggered by landing three or more Scatters. Three, four, five, six, or seven Scatters rewards 10, 12, 15, 20, or 30 spins, respectively. The persistent multipliers in the round give players the chance to land some big wins.

Mochimon Slot Verdict
The Sugar Rush slot was a big hit for Pragmatic Play, so it makes sense that it would get the reskin treatment. If you liked the original Sugar Rush, then you will find plenty to enjoy with Mochimon, with the slot just having a slightly more adult theme. The multiplier spots work well with the Tumble mechanic and can lead to some really nice gameplay sequences, and the high RTP and volatility are going to please players.
